Over the last 14 years, Valerie has practiced privately, publicly through massage establishments, spas, and chiropractors, and within the corporate sector.  She has worked with people of all ages, from all walks of life, and has experience with many types of injuries and disabilities.

Valerie’s philosophy is that every person can benefit from massage.  She states, “Massage is good for the body as well as the mind and spirit… every person who graces me with their presence on my table is approached with pureness of intention, and gratefulness for the ability and opportunity to help another human.  I approach every massage with love in my heart, and absolute gratitude for the gift I have been given.  It is my purpose and my pleasure to aid you in your relaxation and help you to find freedom from pain and discomfort.”

Alex Ray Averill, LMT

Licensed Massage Therapist

Offering massage from infant to 100+ years of age.

Since graduating from the Arizona School of Massage Therapy in 2008, I have found purpose in providing therapeutic healing. With a patient-centered approach and philosophy.

I love being able to help people whom I otherwise would not have met. Through avid listening, thoughtful communications, and a friendly, patient-centered approach, I am able to nurture relationships which lead to effective healing.

I am skilled in all the major modalities of Massage Therapy. I have worked repeatedly with clients in a medically induced coma, and am confidently able to work with paraplegics. I have also worked in and enjoyed athletic training message and sports injury. In addition to knowledge and skills, I walk the walk as a firm believer in living a healthy lifestyle.

I am passionate about the world of holistic healing, and as a Massage Therapist, I have found a great drive in improving my patient’s quality of life through improved well-being and health.
